MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

As an SME trading below the £36M threshold there is no requirement to publish a formal modern slavery statement. However, we want to assure any interested parties of our commitment to building ethical business practices and policies that protect workers from exploitation and abuse as detailed in the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Exit Door provides escape room and team building experiences in Rossendale in the UK and has one director, Siobhan Wood. Due to the nature of the business the supply chain is limited. We are committed to continuous improvement and have the following policies in place:

Anti Bribery and Corruption

Corporate Social Responsibility

Ethical

Environmental

Equality and Diversity

Health and Safety

Modern Slavery Act Whistleblowing

Exit Door recognises we will have more responsibilities as we begin to grow and recruit and will take appropriate action, remain vigilant, and strive to do more. The director will ensure all Exit Door employees are trained in how to spot signs of modern slavery and how to report any concerns. Exit Door will also raise awareness of modern slavery issues externally by promoting appropriate resources on our social media channels.

Exit Door fully supports any legislation in regards to combatting and takes a zero tolerance approach towards modern slavery and human trafficking.

Anyone concerned about modern slavery can flag potential issues or access advice and guidance by calling the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700. Those in Lancashire can find more information by searching “modern slavery” on Lancashire Constabulary’s website.
